Praying Your Purpose
.
by Tim Redmond - the Leadership and Wealth Creation Coach

Leadership is awakening the greatness in you and others. Part of the "greatness" is the purpose God breathed into you at your beginning.

Purpose (why you exist) is something that is discovered, not created. A leader helps others in this discovery and acts as a ladder to help them climb to the fulfillment of their purpose.

What is your unique purpose? Recently, I revisited this question and wrote down everything that came to mind. Then I discussed these things with the Lord in an intimate conversation. As I began to pray my purpose, confidence and vision began flooding my heart; confusion and concern washed away.

As leaders, we are people of faith. Faith is "seeing" and being convinced of the vision inside of us, regardless of the condition of the outside.

What do you have faith for? Consider making the fulfillment of your purpose the focus of your faith . . .

When I pray at the intersection of these 2 points (faith and purpose), prayer is answered, the Kingdom of God is furthered and I become stronger and more confident as a leader.

Here's a few of the purpose items that I wrote down:
- to know Him intimately and make Him known.
- to obey Him even when it seems insignificant.
- to awaken the greatness in God's people.
- to reach, restore, develop and release leaders.

"Lord, expand my territory and effectiveness for more opportunities to do this - help me release Your anointing through the spiritual and naturals gifts with which you endowed me!"

What about you? Please consider writing your purpose and begin to communicate with the Lord regarding each item on your list. Do it daily for the next several days and watch what happens with the strength of your leadership - it's greatness awakened!
